These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PlayerAdda mobile application and website (together, the "Platform"), operated by PlayerAdda Technologies Private Limited (CIN: U63112UP2026PTC248865), a company incorporated in India with its registered office in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh ("PlayerAdda", "we", "us"). By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
- User / You – any person who accesses or uses the Platform, including players, parents and guardians.
- Partner – a turf owner, venue operator, sports academy, coach or tournament organiser listed on the Platform.
- Service – turf and venue slot booking, coaching enrolment and subscription plans, tournament registration, and any related feature offered on the Platform.
- Booking – a confirmed reservation of a venue slot, coaching session or plan, or tournament entry made through the Platform.
2. Nature of the Platform — Intermediary Role
PlayerAdda is a technology platform and intermediary. We connect Users with independent Partners. We do not own, operate, manage, staff or control any turf, venue, academy or tournament listed on the Platform, unless expressly stated otherwise.
The contract for the actual sporting service (use of the ground, coaching delivery, tournament conduct) is formed directly between you and the Partner. PlayerAdda facilitates discovery, scheduling, payment and communication for that contract. Partners are solely responsible for the condition, safety, legality, quality and availability of their facilities and services.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and transact on the Platform.
- Users under 18 may participate in bookings, coaching and tournaments only where the booking is made and consented to by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf and assumes responsibility for the minor.
- Registration requires a valid Indian mobile number verified by OTP. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your device and OTP secure.
- You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, and to keep it updated.
- We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse, repeated no-shows, chargeback abuse, or conduct harmful to Partners or other Users.
4. Bookings
- A Booking is confirmed only when payment is successfully received and you receive an in-app confirmation and/or SMS confirmation from PlayerAdda.
- Slot availability, pricing, peak/non-peak rates and facilities shown on the Platform are supplied by the Partner. While we take reasonable steps to keep listings accurate, we do not warrant that all listing information is error-free at all times.
- You must arrive on time. The Partner is not obliged to extend a slot to compensate for late arrival, and no refund is payable for unused time (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy).
- Where a Partner is unable to honour a confirmed Booking, PlayerAdda will offer you a reschedule at no cost or a full refund of amounts paid.
- Coaching subscriptions (weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly) are for the stated duration and number of sessions. Unused sessions do not automatically roll over unless the Partner's plan expressly allows it.
- Tournament registrations are subject to the individual tournament's rules, eligibility criteria, format and schedule, which are published on the tournament listing and form part of these Terms for that event.
5. Pricing, Payments & Taxes
- All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise on the listing.
- Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. PlayerAdda does not store your full card, UPI or banking credentials.
- PlayerAdda retains a platform commission from the transaction value, as agreed separately with each Partner. The price you pay as a User is the price shown at checkout.
- Payment gateway or bank charges levied by your issuer, if any, are your responsibility.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a Booking was confirmed at an incorrect price, we will inform you and offer either the corrected price or a full refund.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed entirely by the PlayerAdda Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available on the Platform.
7. User Conduct
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including betting, gambling, wagering or fantasy contests involving stakes.
- Book slots for resale, or create bulk, fake, automated or duplicate accounts.
- Damage venue property, use abusive or discriminatory language, or behave violently or unsafely at any venue, coaching session or tournament.
- Harass, stalk, impersonate or send unsolicited or offensive messages to any other User, coach or Partner through Platform features.
- Post false reviews, manipulate ratings, or upload content that is obscene, defamatory, infringing or otherwise unlawful.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, probe or interfere with the Platform, its APIs or its security.
Partners may refuse entry to, or remove, any person who breaches venue rules. In such cases no refund is payable.
8. Assumption of Risk & Safety
Sport carries an inherent risk of injury. You participate in all activities booked through the Platform entirely at your own risk. You confirm that you are medically fit to participate. PlayerAdda is not liable for any injury, illness, death, or loss of or damage to personal property occurring at any venue, coaching session or tournament. You are strongly advised to maintain your own health and accident insurance.
9. Intellectual Property
The PlayerAdda name, logo, tagline, app design, source code, databases, and all content created by us are the exclusive property of PlayerAdda Technologies Private Limited and are protected under Indian intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to use our marks without prior written consent.
Content you upload (photos, reviews, team names) remains yours, but you grant PlayerAdda a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce and promote that content in connection with the Platform and its marketing.
10. Communications & Consent
By registering, you consent to receive transactional communications from PlayerAdda by SMS, email and in-app notification, including OTPs, booking confirmations, reminders, refund updates and tournament information. These are service messages essential to the Platform and cannot be opted out of while you hold an active account. Promotional messages may be opted out of at any time.
11. Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates third-party services including payment gateways, mapping providers, SMS gateways and analytics tools. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions or availability of any third-party service.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, PlayerAdda's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Platform or a Booking shall not exceed the total amount you actually paid to PlayerAdda for the specific Booking giving rise to the claim. PlayerAdda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, including loss of profit, opportunity, data or goodwill.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlayerAdda, its founders, directors, employees and Partners against any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your conduct at any venue or event.
15. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, extreme weather, flooding, fire, epidemic or pandemic, riot, civil unrest, strike, government order, power failure, or failure of internet or telecommunications infrastructure. Where a Booking cannot proceed due to such an event, we will work with the Partner to reschedule or refund.
16. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably suspect fraudulent or harmful activity. You may close your account at any time by writing to support@playeradda.com. Termination does not affect accrued rights, completed Bookings, or clauses that by their nature survive (including Sections 8, 9, 13, 14 and 18).
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by SMS/email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation. Failing resolution within 30 days, the dispute shall be settled by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and the language shall be English. Subject to the foregoing, the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
